Deep love is unforgettable. Since the Victorian era, Forget Me Nots (Myosotis sylvatica) have been given and worn in celebration (and in remembrance) of such loves.
With this design, I wanted to create a ring that celebrates the unique and irreplaceable connection felt between two people. Be it partners, friends or a parent and child, this ring is a tribute to the unseen and often unspoken frequency felt between those we love. It’s a recognition of that which is not held in our physical bodies, but something that magnetically floats in the space between them; a space that transcends meters, miles and mortality.
In this bold statement ring, two D shaped Tanzanites reflect the beautiful purpley-blue of Forget Me Not petals. The gemstones are cupped by a ‘lace’ texture that I’ve enjoyed using in other Forget Me Not designs (a detail taken from the golden, bee-enticing centres of these tiny flowers). Sitting either side are two mini Forget Me Nots with pretty pink Sapphires – the colour of the flowers before they fully bloom.
With such sentiment and meaning, this breathtaking ring is perfect for those looking for a gift in celebration of true, unforgettable love.
Handmade in 18ct gold with two D shaped Tanzanites 7x4mm (total 1.6cts) and two 2mm pink Sapphires. Ring band is 6mm x 2.5mm oval shape.
