Forget Me Not Cufflinks – Handmade and Kinetic

In these opening Forget Me Not Cufflinks, five tiny 9ct gold petals sit nestled inside an outer silver casing or ‘sepals’. As the cufflink back is pressed in, the flower emerges and unfolds, revealing a sparkly diamond centre. The diamond is set into a sweet mini flower shape made in 18ct gold, reflecting the flowers vibrant bee-attracting yellow centres. Release the back and the flower retreats, keeping it safely tucked in whilst the cufflinks are being worn. Along side the main flower sits two more buds illustrating the different stages of bloom with tiny curled up 18ct gold petals.

Forget Me Nots (Myosotis sylvatica) are symbolic of true love and respect and are also celebrated as the national flower of Alaska. With such a poetic and sentimental name, this sweet flower is also worn and planted as a symbol of remembrance for a lost loved one.
